We advise you remotely, answer questions and examine your pet via video call in the comfort of his home — where he feels calm and safe.
1. RESERVATION
Book a free date via our form when you want to contact the doctor, and please describe what is troubling the pet or what we can advise you on.
2. PREPARATION
Our veterinarian will prepare for the consultation and call you online via Skype or WhatsApp at the agreed time. You can use a smartphone or a computer with a camera for the call.
3. CONSULTATION
During the consultation, the veterinarian will examine your pet as much as possible, answer all questions and advise you on what to do next.
In what cases should you choose a remote consultation?
The video does not replace a classic examination. But it is an excellent option in situations when:
- You do not have the opportunity to come to the doctor’s office and you are not sure about your pet’s health.
- You want to get advice on whether a visit to the doctor’s office is necessary, or to get a second opinion, e.g. on a previous diagnosis (from another veterinarian).
- You have questions about ongoing treatment and want to check that everything is going well (unless you need to get X-rays, blood tests or other tests).
- Do you need advice without an examination (preparation for a holiday with a pet, nutrition consultation, vaccinations, etc.)

15 minutes – 300 Kč
30 minutes – 500 Kč
If during the call we find out that it is a serious problem with which you will have to come to our clinic, you do not pay for the video consultation.

What does your waiting room look like?
We have one large waiting room at the clinic. We try to work in a way that enables you to spend as little time in it as possible. In addition, thanks to the order system, it usually does not happen that several animals meet in the space at once. When this happens, owners with dogs and cats have the option to sit aside within the room.
Is a video consultation a substitute for an in-person clinical examination?
It isn’t. Communication via video is an addition and an excellent service if you want to consult a veterinarian about minor problems or need to get another opinion, for example, on a previous diagnosis or the course of treatment. However, it is not a substitute for the care and examination that we can provide to your pets in person at the clinic.
Are video consultations available throughout the whole day?
We are here for you every day from 8 am to 10 pm throughout the week. However, if we receive an urgent case, the scheduled video consultation may be delayed.
In which cases can video consultation be used?
Video consultations are suitable for smaller cases when you need advice, or to get a second opinion on a previous examination (e.g. from another veterinarian). It can be a check of the correct course of treatment after the procedure, nutrition or vaccination consultation, examination results or perhaps an X-ray.

How much does the service cost?
Most consultations are shorter, up to 15 minutes, and cost CZK 300. A longer, 30-minute consultation costs CZK 500. However, if we find out during the call that it is a serious case for which you will have to come to our clinic, you do not pay for the video consultation — you only pay for the follow-up examination at our clinic.
Do I need a specific app or device to call?
The video call takes place online via Skype or WhatsApp. You can connect from any smartphone or computer that has a camera, is connected to the Internet and where you have installed at least one of the two mentioned apps.
For a remote examination, it is usually more convenient to use the telephone, because you can show us your pet’s problems more easily that way.
What happens if you discover an urgent problem?
If during the video call we discover that your pet needs urgent help, our veterinarian will immediately discuss with you the next course of action—either coming to our clinic (Prague 3 – Žižkov) or sending our ambulance to your home (Prague and Central Bohemia region).
Why have you started with video consultations?
Remote consultation, so-called telemedicine, allows us to examine animals even when you do not have the opportunity to come to the clinic in person. For example – if you are at a cottage and you have an animal in our care, we know it, and it has an established medical records at our clinic – you want advice directly from us. Or also in the case when, on the other hand, we ourselves are outside the clinic. Our work can be much more flexible and, especially, more affordable for you and your pets this way. In a number of neighboring countries, video consultations are already common services today, and we want to offer them to you as well.
Can a video consultation focus on multiple animals at once?
Definitely yes. It is enough if you write to us in advance what you would like to solve during the consultation.
