Homevet mobile service – MVDr. Gabal
We offer the Homevet service designed for pets that are anxious or stressed during transportation or contact with a veterinarian. Our veterinarians will come to your home and provide your pet with individual care and attention. This service is suitable for pets that have problems such as adapting to a new environment or are attached to a specific environment they are familiar with.
What can be examined at home?
One of the most common procedures that mobile veterinarians handle is vaccination of animals. If you wish to vaccinate your pets, it is essential to book an appointment well in advance to avoid the vaccine expiring. For example certain vaccines, such as those against infectious diseases (DHPPi) and leptospirosis (Lepto, L4, L multi), require a booster shot after three to four weeks if the initial vaccination is not completed on time. The only mandatory vaccine by law in our country is rabies (Rabies). In case of international travel with your dog it is necessary to have the vaccine renewed annually. In the Czech Republic the official duration of validity is three years.
Furthermore other procedures that can be performed in the home setting are for example blood sampling, administration of medication, health status monitoring, and humane euthanasia. Our clinics will endeavour to find a suitable appointment time at the earliest possible convenience.
Our mobile veterinarians.
First, we collaborate with several mobile veterinarians at our clinic. They care for the health of your pets directly in their home environment. One of our collaborators is Dr. Gabal, with whom we have worked in the past. Currently, Dr. Gabal holds the position of mobile veterinarian and assists us with examining and treating animals at home.
Our other mobile veterinarians are also Dr. Kvasňovská Koudelková, Dr. Hurajová, Dr. Jurčišinová, Dr. Pražáková and Dr. Richterová. She travels only upon individual agreement with clients.
